Shop downsizing coming soon.
Fellas, it has become apparent that I should start selling off duplicates etc in my shop in preparation for a probable shift offshore. If we go I am going to sell everything including all tooling, machines, books etc. keep an eye on the stuff for sale section.

Those words bring to mind a group of vultures just sitting around a carcase just waiting for someone to start the feeding frenzy.
I don't like going to clearing sales for the same reason. A person's life is spread out to be sold off to the ever present vultures.
Greg I hope you deeply consider your decisions while you get ready for your moveJust do it!
Kind regards Rod

I hope that includes selling all your textile equipment as well! Wouldnt be fair to only sell half.
Sadly looking forward to looking at your pretties.

If we do go anywhere at this stage it'll be either Tokyo**or the middle east, depending on who can use me. My employer has decided that circling the drain is a valid marketing ploy. I don't reckon I'll have a gig here in 12 months based on current trajectory.
If we do go, it'll be in suitcases. Everything else will be sold.
**wanted: Geiger counter and three life vests.

Just so everyone knows what's going on here, and so I don't look quite the idiot, I made a joke about binning my stuff instead of selling it, not unlike a member famous for such sentiments on another forum that most of us also visit. Fair enough that the mod does not want to lower the tone on this board, and won't tolerate mud slinging. Good. That's not what I was doing, but I guess that mud is in the eyes of the beholder. Fred, I didn't see your previous post regarding this issue, so I object to be scolded like a school boy. If something has you that incited kindly add it to the rules and make a sticky about it. LOL. You'd be surprised. They have to make them in "union heavyweight" size in case one of them has to actually attend a job site
Three camel backs and a parallel type. But they will be in the last group. Right now I am just cleaning out the stuff that I can do without in any event.
Oh, and I will list things whenever I am home...probably something everyday next week.

Gentlemen, I am disappointed that after the last round of having a go at members on other forums I have had to remove yet another reference to a member on HSM.
Could I ask, once again, to refrain from doing that? It is neither funny, nor do we want it here

You'll need to wear a tea towel on your head and eat sushi to work out which one you like better.
May help with the decision of where to go.

Be replaced.re, inherited tools etc.

Actually, giving up on Oz is going to be much harder. if we do go I'm not sure when or if we'll return.
I got a call today about flying some Middle Eastern potentate. They didn't say what they wanted him flown into

It is a bummer when any person has to move etc because of our industrial problems in this country. All the best in your new adventure and I hope all goes well for you.
