Default What has happened to the forum?

I haven't been here for a couple of week and everything seems to have changed.
Can someone please tell me how to get rid of that bright white screen? It hurts my very weak eyes.
I would like to get the old buff colour back if possible.
Every day is better than yesterday

    Cheers

I don't think you can at the moment. IIRC, there was mention that optional skins would come back at some stage, during another part of the upgrade change (which means there'll be another change).

Maybe it's a bit like rebuilding a car engine - things have to be done in a certain sequence (I can see that being the case with software).

Scroll down to the bottom of the screen to find the style selector and select Single column. This layout is more like the older days and has a softer bluegrey background that should be easier on the eyes.

If that doesn't help, you might have to reduce the brightness on the screen a little, hope you aren't running a screen with photo calibration etc if you need to go that way. I am working from a netbook and can uplug from power for battery operation to reduce screen brightness for specific things, but get reduced run time as well.

There a threads about the update in Announcements and as a sticky in Forum Help in case you haven't found them yet.
