    Default Engineers Lamp

Can anyone give me some information about the use of an Engineers Lamp?.
    It's measurement's are about 100 x 60 x 40.

I've had it for sometime but never been able to work out what an Engineer would do with such a small flame.
I'm sure the answer is going to be obvious and I'll look like a git but there you go!.

    Cheers
    Trev.

Thanks mate I think you've nailed it for me.
And what a great video the level of craftsmanship is off the planet!.
Talk about some serious skills what about those engravers.

Not only have I got the answer to the question but a hole now respect for the gun maker.

    Cheers mate
