Extending Timber house on brick piers without having to use bricks.
Newbie here.
Want to help my daughter extend by 10M2, her timber cottage on brick piers without having to have more brick piers. Thought I would use Timber posts on concrete footings with suitable Gal post supports or Groundscrews sunk 1 metre into stable and even ground. Would like to know whether this is possible as the new supports would not be the same as Brick.
Any thoughts ?
Cheers Ross
