G'day (or bonjour as we say over here) from a Pom
I live in France and have just acquired two Sheppach tools from the estate of a deceased friend neither of which came with their user manuals.
One is a band saw model hbs 20 Serial number 1524 Article number 4901504924 and the other is a wood turning lathe model Woodstar WL 05 Serial number 1305 Bj 2009 Article number 3902301911.
Have tried to get copies from Sheppach but they haven't replied to my enquiry although they did acknowledge it.
Can anyone help me or make any suggestions as to where I might get these two manuals.
Many thanks.
John

Welcome to the forum. I might suggest that you post this question in the General sub section of the forum as not everyone looks in this part of the forum.

G'Day & Welcome “DownUnder” to a top forum John.
You'll find a heap of helpful & knowledgeable blokes & ladies on the forum and for the most, very willing to assist.
Make sure you show off your handiwork as everyone loves a photo, especially WIP photos with build notes.
Enjoy the forum.
Enjoy your woodwork & good luck finding your manuels.

Hi John, welcome from another newbe, also in France. What bit are you in?
The lathe looks like a good little model. What kind of info are you looking for? If it's the MT size for the headstock/tailstock? I believe that it's an MT2 from a discription on an ebay sellers blurb. He calls it MK2???
If you are in doubt, have a look here, just scroll down a bit.

Edit : - I forgot to say that if you are loking to buy saw blades for your saw then you could do a hell of a lot worse then these
tuffsaws.co.uk or axminster.co.uk . I haven't found anywhere here in France that I would touch..
