PLEASE TAKE NOTE; Slow Down!!!
A very chilling reminder of the need to take care of loved ones.
A friend sent this photo of a horrible highway accident in Germany. The picture may be kind of hard to take for some.
If you look closely you can see what appears to be some survivors of the accident still in the wreckage. Although the picture is quite graphic, it makes you realise how quickly our loved ones can be taken from us.
Take a moment today and spend some time with those you love, and let this be a chilling reminder to all of you that life is just too short.Cliff.
If you find a post of mine that is missing a pic that you'd like to see, let me know & I'll see if I can find a copy.

I attended a semi that had lost its load of cans of beer back in the eighties (through work so don't be rude). Although no can was obviously punctured, all were empty. This was in the days of steel cans and apparently the shock of landing sprung the seams.
I was most disappointed.

Could this, perhaps, explain the bird flying into the windscreen of the Porsche that was posted a day or so ago at 250Km/hr
Cheers!
PS I almost thought that you were serious there or a moment Cliff. Should've known better

I AM bloody serious.... It's not funny to waste beer on the road like that if it hasn't been through a set of kidneys first.
Cliff.

Judging by the scene, I wonder how did the accident occur? A huge container fell off a low flying Jumbo 747?

Strewth, get in quick for a cheap esky.
I kid you not, I was in Germany in February and it was so nice seeing men holding hands as they went to watch a soccer match. Well not quite, they were carrying loaded crates of beer between them.
No need for ice, the air temp was about 2 deg C
Mind you the road in picture there looks like the streets of Dusseldorf during their carnival. Finished with your beer, no problem, smash it down on the ground and get another one
It was amazing though, each night the cleanup crews would come along with their brooms and shovels, no machines, and the streets would be clean ready for the next onslaught. Even more amazing considering all the paved areas are cobblestones.
Mind you at least all the beer was being correctly processed through the kidneys.
Actually come to think of it, perhaps the picture IS the aftermath of a soccer matchRay
