Hi, thanks for all the effort you mods put into making this forum really hum along, it is really appreciated by the membership I'm sure.
However I seem to have a problem with the recently installed Tapatalk feature. I recently acquired an iPad for portable use when touring (mainly) and a few days ago installed Tapatalk. I am still learning its features, but earlier today I opened a posting from Anorak Bob and was delighted to find that there was no need to separately open each of his 13 uploaded photos. All I had to do was swipe from one to the next, which was so much quicker than opening each image in turn. It will not be news to many that each image could be resized using the reverse pinch gesture, which made for a great viewing experience.
Tonight however I can't get it to work anymore, and my iPad is functioning more or less as it did before I installed Tapatalk.
This happens even when I come to the forum from Tapatalk, the app, or if I approach from the help desk, in fact that approach leads to a tab for metalwork forums which is dead, and I have to backtrack and come in from the app direct.
I don't know if it is relevant or not, but I was also logged out and had to log back in again this evening, not sure why.
Two other comments if I may, firstly you have spelt Tapatalk with a double P, while they spell it with a single P. Not a capital offence to be sure, I just thought that you might like it bought to your attention.
The second comment concerns the Tabbed Forums for Tapatalk drop down menu, which in the default skin had a dark brown background with dull red text which is practically impossible to read. I know the mobile device skin in blue fixes this, but I have had this default back to the brown /red combination once or twice. There would not seem to be any advantage in having an unreadable option, so perhaps this can be looked at too.
If I am the problem, then some instruction would be welcomed, but if there is some issue within the forum software, which you expect to fix hopefully in the near future, advice of that would be good too.
Thanks again for all your efforts, you blokes do a great job,
Regards,
Rob.
