    Default Another Log On issue

I am having to log on every time I link to the website - and even when I move between forums.

And yes, I have ticked the Remember Me" box.

    Others?

    Regards from Perth

Gooday Derek. Log out, delete cookies and log back in.

    See if that works.

Derek, I had to delete my cookies to resolve this issue.

Depending on what browser you're using, you'll need to delete cookies for a start and if that doesn't fix the problem, Temporary Internet Files or Cached files.

Try that for a start and if you're still having a problem, you may need to reload some of your browser's program files.

If you are using Firefox, goto tools, options, privacy, and make sure it says,
    "save cookies until they expire"!

    A bit of feedback.

I removed all my cookies here. I deleted all on my computer.

It was fine for a day, then I again had to log in. This is happening all the time. It does not occur on any other websites, only Ubeaut.

    ???

Have you tried clearing your Cache or Temporary Internet Files depending on the browser you're using as well, plus not to mention are you also ticking the Remember Me box as well?

Derek, I read that you have cleared the cache and temp files. Try manually deleting the cache with the browser shut down (in case a file can't be deleted because it is 'open'.

Also, and an obvious question, is uBeaut your home page? If so, is it set to take you to the login page on startup?

It could be that you logged onto http://woodworkforums.com.au but are following a link to http://www.woodworkforums.ubeaut.com.au or http://woodworkforums.com/.

They all point ot the same site, but if you log into one, it doesn't mean you've logged into the other.

Just double check which URLs you are using, and when you hit a link (e.g. attachment) check the URL that points to as well.

    Cheers,
    Af.

Derek switch off your firewall log on to ubeaut with the remember me , the iDrivel and open slather ( if you go there ) then switch the firewall back on . For the minute or two the firewalls off wont compromise your security in any way but will allow you to get back on to the forum without having to sign in each time

You may be on the money. I have been linking to woodworkforums.ubeaut.com.au

Notably, I would have to sign in whenever I linked to the home page. However, when I followed a link from an email, I was logged on automatically.

    I shall report progress.
