Removing cork flooring

I'm about to start removing cork flooring that has been layed over a concret base. What is the best method for removing this type of flooring? In the few test spots I've already pulled up, the flooring seem quite tacky underneath. What is the best way of removing any residual residue from the adhesive? Cheers
