Hi all,

I'm about to move back home with my parents and they've agreed to let me add a door from my bedroom to the balcony. The best place to put it will be right next to the existing door that leads from the balcony to the hallway. This door is disintergrating and needs replacing anyway.

What we can't agree on is the best way to have two entrances side by side, since it's at the front of the house and viewable from the street. I would love to have sliding doors across both that can be pushed into the bedroom wall and therefore both sides can be open at once. However, I have no idea if this is even possible for an external door.

My parents don't think there is any solution other than having two normal doors side-by-side. Not that there's anything wrong with that, I just think it might look a bit odd from the street, and my creative side is convinced that there's going to be other alternatives.

Any ideas?

Red.
