    Default vanishing Queensland red cedar

    Hi everybody!
This is the first ever time i have done a piece made out of red cedar and are absolutly clueless to what i should use on it, i am making a indoor kitchen box for my father to keep his knives in and i need a lot of help on which vanishes i should use?????
I was thinking on the lines of somthing that didn't 'seel' the wood but let it breath, somthing that kept the wood in good condition and all.

P.S i have limited knowlage (i am a novice) in wooddork so keep the big words to a limit please!!!!!

    sincerely

    Hi SJ,

Can you post a pic? Would help. Or tell us what you've done so far.

No, don't oil or touch anything. No rush is there?

Cedar's no drama to finish but there are some simple rules.
    Cheers, Ern
