Inlaid table - bleach spots
Hiya
We have an inlaid table which has some scratches and bleach spots. Can anyone advise on how to restore it? I'm a bit unsure as it has panels where the grain of the wood joins in different directions.
I'll try and post some pics.
Thanks!!

Can I sand it and re-seal it or will I need to stain it? Bleach it all?
Anyone??

looking at your photos I'm almost certain that the table top is veneer -- possibly less than 1mm thick.
do you know what the finished is?regards from Alberta, Canada

Hi Ian,
No idea I'm afraid...it was bought second hand. If we cant finish it as is we will probably paint it which seems like a shame.
Any ideas welcome!
Thanks

Give this stuff a go POLISH REVIVER and if it doesn't fix it I doubt anything else will. Should get rid of the marks and rejuvenate the whole table top so long as the surface is in reasonable condition and not badly crazed.

Thanks very much...will pick some up tomorrow and give it a go. When it arrived it looked like something had been spilt on it, I cleaned it with a general purpose kitchen spray and the spillage spots when white.
Will try your product and let you know!!
