Petrol Water Pump vs Electric Water Pump with Generator
We moved 1.25 Acres earlier this year and the property has a substantial water tank someway down the backyard, without any electricity.
The previous owner had a petrol Fire Fighting Pump set up which he wanted to keep, so wifey wants some way to use the water for the garden.
Talking to different people, some say just get a petrol water pump, but others have suggested getting a Generator then using an electric pump. Obviously option two, with a Generator, is dual purpose, which I am yet to quiz the neighbour about frequency of "black outs", but thought id see what you guys think?
Thanks in advance,
Sabre
