    Thumbs up Truly Bonded

A very confident James Bond walks into a bar and takes a seat next to a very attractive woman. He gives her a quick glance, then casually looks at his watch for a moment.
The woman notices this and asks,"Is your date running late?"
"No".he replies,"Q's just given me this state-of-the-art watch and I was just testing it."
The intrigued woman say's,"A state-of-the-art watch? Whats so special about it?"
Bond explains,"It uses alpha waves to talk to me telepathically."
The lady say's,"Whats it telling you now?"
    "Well,it say's you're not wearing any panties....."
The woman giggles and replies,"Well it must be broken because I am wearing panties!"
Bond tuts, taps his watch and say's,"Damn thing's an hour fast"
    Cheers

Very good Johnno, from one who has followed 007 from the start (and who was the 'first' 007?)

Why, Sean Connery, of course! (And the best too, IMHO).

    WRONG!!!!!!!!

    David Niven in Casino Royale.
Several years before the popular series but still 007.

Re-he-heeely? Never heard of that one. Is it any good? Well, I may be wrong, but at least I'm not wrong alone. I've read a couple of books that say that "Dr No" is the first James Bond movie.

Sean Connery was still the best though.

Don't worry, you didn't miss much, as for all the other Bonds, I think they were all good except for that dreadful George Lazenby.

Yeah Tristan, Iain, is right ...a good trivial pursuit question that!
I remember hearing this question posed some years back and was also stunned by the answer.... but no-one but no-one can carry the character like Sean Connery.
