Default Laminate Floor - door frames

When installing a laminate click type floor, how do you finish off where the boards meet the door frames? I've been told to cut the bottom of the door frames so that the boards can slide under them... but the frames are metal. If cutting is the way to do it, what is the right tool to cut the bottom of the frames considering the tight space. The local tool shop couldn't offer me much advice...

    Thanks.

    Hello R,

You can hire an Undercut doorframe saw from VCS products in U1,7 O'malley Street Osborne park 08 9347 0222. It's like an angle grinder with a plate and levelling device. Cost $72 a day. It also has different blades for wood and masonry/steel.

    Regards

    Damon
