Default Table delivery, Nowra to Paddington

I wonder if anyone has experienced the need to transport works to new owners some distance away and what means you have used that are cost effective? Do I look for a removalist or would a courier business be a better bet? Any other options?

I suppose there are lot's of answers to that, maybe hire a trailer or Ute/small truck and do it yourself for that distance. It will also depend on who is footing the bill for transport of course and if it is the client do they have a preference or was it included in the cost and specifically left to you to organise. I have seen how some furniture movers work and it does not fill me with confidence but of course there must be some good ones out there.

Personally I will not trust anyone with my furniture. I always do the delivery myself. I've delivered a cabinet from Sydney to Newcastle and a dining table to Armidale all in 1 single trip.

With help of my FIL we picked the a hired truck on Saturday morning and returned it on Sunday night.

Thanks for the suggestions, but I don't do 'driving in Sydney'.

    OK
so it comes down to using either a courier or a removalist. Using Two men and a truck would work, but you would need to be sure that they contracted to move only your item all the way to Paddington -- your place to Paddo in one lift.

    BTW
There may be no profit in the exercise once you've paid for delivery
