Hi Paul being you started this thread I'll post here instead.

Great morning headed down abit late for start of CNC with Steve but caught the last 15 mins which was good. Thanks to a gent (Ian was it you) who took the close up shots of the cuts.

The break had Sue and I heading up for some sustenance, Sue headed for the Weaving room where she was gestured in through the door I didn't see her for 1/2 hr or so.

I mean time did a roll through the gallery where AlexS had pointed out about the display ( good to meet such a fine gent at last).

Oh finally a cuppa and sandwhich. While just finishing I Have a Big shed Nathan and his lovely wife strolled up (great to see them looking so trim taught and terrific).

Down to the demo area for the next session "Traditional Joints" the slight shower of rain didn't dampen spirits in fact people just huddled under the cover.

Up to drool over the tools of Colon Clenton (he's aiming for the new position in Rome), HNT Gordon, Chris Vespa (if you go to shake his hand please be careful he is recovering from a double injury), Jim Davey with some real nice 6" and 12" Combinations sets at a great price. (maybe when we see him down Kiama if I have some money left). Specialty Timbers from Nora and Southern Hignalnds Turners.

Oh New this year was Japanese Tool Co with some real nice mini moulding planes.

Didn't stay for laminating as weather was becoming worse and its no fun for Sue getting drenched.

Gronjea aka Andy arrived just prior us leaving.

Headed there today. Bought some small bits and pieces from Gifkins and drooled over the displays of Cole Clenton, Chris Vesper et al.

Saw the blanket chest joinery session and the laminating demo. Both were good. The laminating demo convinced me to give a project that has curves in it a go.

I didn't buy a particular router bit from Gifkins because I thought I already had it... When I got home, turned out I don't have it. Though it gives me an excuse to head back down there tomorrow (there really should be more woody shows in the local area ) and also catch the steam bending demo.

We interrupted Ray and Sue enjoying their cuppa. They were probably hoping that the Southern Highlands would be nice and peaceful......

    Nathan.
