Jarrah Dressing Table (Help Needed Please?)
Hi,
I am currently restoring the Jarrah Dressing Table below, and I have two areas that I need some assistance with?
Firstly, does anyone recognise the picture of the handle below, and if so does anyone know where I could get another as my dresser is missing the floral backing plate on one handle?
Secondly, could anyone from looking at the picture below give me an age of my dresser, or does anyone know who I can contact to find out that information?
Any help would be greatly appreciated?
Thanks,
Bullfrog

Tear drop handle is sort of an english thing, may not be original? Any other holes behind the handles? Repro handles like these should be readily available but soo hard to find an exact match. First rule in buying antiques is it doesnt matter how good it is - if it doesnt have a full set of handles dont buy it. Probably would also have had casters, look for holes drilled into the base of the legs. Age wise hard to tell, 30's to 50's?
