I can take pics on the iPad but stuffed if I can add them to a post.
Reckon I need to manage my photos on the iPad but what is the app I need?

Michael, the iPad comes with a built in App for photos called 'Photo', it's the button with the yellow flower.

Hope this helps. If you're having trouble try and book yourself into your local Apple store (major cities only) and they can give you a free demo.

There is also an app on photobucket for this purpose. apparently is free and you upload a pic to photobucket and then get the file location address from the app and paste the link to the file in a forum such as this. Maybe there is an easier way and someone will be able to tell you but if you go to the photobucket website, there may be some information on there.
It seems you can't just upload a pic directly to a website like this from the ipad but I could be wrong about that.
    Reality is no background music.

Thanks guys. Photobucket was what I needed. As far as I can work out you cannot upload from the iPad photo album directly.

    Cheers

Does the iPad photo album have an option to export photos in a different format?
I use Linux and the photo application I use to manage the contents from cameras, requires that I export the photo as a JPG or GIF. These can then be posted directly to the forum.

As far as I can work out the iPad let's you attach pics from the album to emails but other than that you can't export them. You can attach the iPad to the puter and download. Then you can attach them to forum posts in the usual way. However loading the photobucket app lets you export pics that you have transferred from the ipad album to the photobucket album (on the ipad). Still exploring to see if there are other options.

Grommett, are you using Safari direct or have you loaded TapaTalk or ForumRunner?
