yo
Paul here from Melbourne.
Only training I have had was 3rd form woodworking where I made my a hexagonal coffee table for my mum. I only manage to get stuck into the woodwork when some project around the house presents itself.
My latest project is a "coffee table" that looks like a bar stool and I found this forum searching for some tips on finishing and was not disappointed.
I have collected quite a pile of wood for recycling over the years.

Hi Paul, welcome to the forum.
"The training of the eyes to know when an edge is perfectly straight or a surface is flat, free from winding, and straight, is a very important part of a lad's training."

G'day Paul and welcome to the shed.
Good to see you are into the timber collecting. I assume most of it is recycled?
