    Default Homemade Drum Sander Query

    I am building a drum sander and I am looking for recommendations on how much travel up and down the table should have.
    I have searched the internet but can’t find anything.

    That's going to depend on the thickness of timber that you want to run through your drum sander!

    Most sub 600mm sanders are between 80 and 100mm.
