Carbatec 13 inch helical desktop thicknesser
So I bought one of these last week.
It's very good - better than I thought it would be. I have put hard and softwood through it up to 13 inches.
And I believe right now it's on special for $999.
I wish I bought one years ago.

Hi Scott,
How have you found this jointer? I'm in the market to upgrade from my old 12" Carbatec straight blade thicknesser. Is there still a bad amount of snipe?
Thanks

So far so good, but I'm just a backyard hobbyist.
No snipe, but that might be due more to luck than skill.
Sometime i put a following board through, and sometimes I lift it slightly as it exits the machine.
