Returning Expat
Not exactly a newbie but I have been absent a while.
I have just bought a new house needing some judicious improvements.
I'll be doing a lot of the work myself .
Kauri kitchen tops (pros and cons)
Double glazing leadlights.
Mini workshop ideas.
Fireplace restoration ... heaps of exiting things to do here
Looking forward to some spirited discussion

G'Day & Welcome back to a top forum "Astrid".
There are a huge number of members in and around Melbourne.
You'll find a heap of helpful & knowledgeable blokes & ladies on the forum and for most very willing to assist.
Make sure you show off your handiwork as everyone loves a photo, especially WIP [Work In Progress] photos with build notes.
Enjoy the forum.
Enjoy your woodwork & new house reno's.
Cheers crowie
