Fruit Bats
How do I get them to either:
#1 Stop eating the neighbour's Cocos Palm berries . which are toxic to them.
#2 Stop crapping all over my shed when they have had a feed?

I would have thought #1 would have fixed #2, if they were truly poisonous rather than just laxative you'd have dead bats. I suppose you could sneak in & paint them with 1080.
Have a word to the neighbour & see if he has some reason he wants to keep the seed bearing parts on the palms. Unless he has a commercial reason for keeping them, I think he would be open to letting you prune the offending fronds - no food = no bats. The Parks people would probably raise an objection to you inviting the local shotgun club round every evening for some live practice.

Cocos palms are a noxious weed. Try talking to your neighbour suggesting he removes them. You could also possibly suggest replacing them with a better looking palm like a fox tail palm at a shared cost.
