    Default u beaut dyes

I've bought the dyes, I've bought some pine. I want to make some simple toys for boys. Do I have to cover the dyes with finish, or when dry will they stay that way?

If I do have to use a finish - what would you recommend, I really am only use to using finish on the lathe. Needs to be non toxic for kids.

Sorry, I was rushing by doing something else.
I don't turn, so I'd use Ubeaut Shellac over it to seal the dye.
    Still rushing.

Shellawax goes nicely over the dyes, when turning. Or Shellawax Cream on non-turned items. Otherwise...
I may be weird, but I'm saving up to become eccentric.
