Fine buffing oil
Hi all,
Went for a walk up to the local hardware, while there noticed the "going cheap" pallet of various finishes, one of which was FW fine buffing oil $40 (down from $80) for 4 litres, haven't used this so far so my first thought was.... Do I need another tin of stuff? second thought....Why is it going cheap? 3rd.... I bet it's old stock and have to get rid of it before it sets solid in the can???
Does it have a shelf life? Seems to be quite liquid in the can....but
So a bit of a search and seems it is good for applying over raw and already previously finished wood and is easily repaired, the name implies that it is best used with a machine to really bring out the shine.
What are others thoughts on fine buffing oil and it's use....
Thanks in advance
Pete
