    Angry Last day at work

Finished work on Wednesday but the gods have announced that today we are having a training day from 1pm until 3pm.
The troops are over the moon and enthusiastic having made plans for the day.
Reckon there could be a bit of a riot just after lunch.

    How sad!

Out here in the real world we have to get the end of month progress claims out, (if we want to go away next week of course).

Having a bludge through a training course seems like sheer heaven to me!

Wrapping up loose ends. Sneaking out to put another coat of finish on that mirror frame the missus wants in between answering emails. Knocking off early to get ready for a gig at the Tura Beach Tavern tonight. It's all as good as a last day can be so far. I'll check back at 4:00 and see if I still feel the same!

The Boss put on a spread of nibblies this morning. Opened the beer wine and champagne at 9.30. It was a bit of a challenge I can tell you.

I think we get to knock off two hours early today. Might have to go to the Club for lunch.

    Merry Christmas to you all.

Perhaps the training will involve celebrating Iain!!

What goes around comes around, for example, is it part of anyone's job description to tell the boss he left his lights on his car? OH&S would frown at anyone trying to jump start his car without the proper training, safety gear, certificates and updates on prior jumper starting courses.

Changing tyres after they have been slashed is extremely dangerous especially if the wheel nuts were made even safer using locktite. You owe it to your boss to warn any brown nosers about the potential hazards and you should restrain them from assisting apart from erecting barricades or even locking his car in a secure compound.

If only one tyre was slashed, the car would be unstable so I suggest for the safety of everyone you slash the other tyres merely to make his car stable. I guess he has four spares.

We must go by the book.

Wish him a merry Christmas, has he got any vacancies for someone like me?

I was in a meeting like that once (many times actually) and decided my life was too short to waste on that sort of 5hit, so walked out and booked m'self into Sturt School for Wood. Best meeting I ever walked out of.

When I came back to work for a couple of years, I just told 'em I don't do meetings.

I finished on Thursday, spent most of yesterday cleaning up the yard. About 3pm I finished that and decided to test out the theory of relativity - Work = Play. Sat in my pool with a stubbie or three of Mud (Tooheys Black Old). So I cooled down internally and externally.
