Shower outlet copper pipe size
I noticed that my existing shower outlet copper pipe, and all off the shelf pre-made set from Brunning are 5/8" size. Is this a standard that I need to stick with ?
I'm soldering 1/2" inch pipes for a new shower mixer to replace the old non-mixer shower and just realised above. The cold/hot inlet have no problems they are both 1/2 inch. I need to either get a 1/2 to 5/8" coupler to join them, or make a 1/2 inch outlet pipe . Is it ok to use 1/2 inch outlet pipe for shower ?
Any advice is appreciated.
