Hi From Brisbane/Nanango
Hi Everyone,
My name is Dave and I hail from Brisbane at this stage, shortly to be moving back to the South Burnett area (work pending), where I have my home and my lovely, empty, 9x12 shed.
As a kid I had a great passion for everything woodwork as I had a very understanding and patient dad who is a passionate chippie.
Now after the years of chasing skirt, getting married, having kids and starting to settle down, I now look to my old hobbies to occupy my time.
I have heartily enjoyed some of the forum threads I have seen so far on here and have learned so much already.
Anyway, enough said, I have some threads I need to explore, but thought I best do the polite thing first and say g'day.
Cheers
Dave

G'Day & Welcome to a top forum "Dave".
We have a few blokes from Brisbane area.
You'll find a heap of helpful & knowledgeable blokes & ladies on the forum and for most very willing to assist.
Make sure you show off your handiwork as everyone loves a photo, especially WIP photos with build notes.
Enjoy the forum.
Enjoy your woodwork & filling that empty shed.

Thanks for the welcome.
I should point out I'm not really a sailor nor drunken (most of the time).
Drunken sailor is an accolade from my wife from how I spend when I'm at bunnings/ mitre 10 lately.
Cheers
dave.
