Gearless clock projekt

I have plans to build the above clock, and will like to hear comments on this project?
I am aware that there are not the great accuracy with belt drive, but found that it looks interesting, especially as a beginner in the noble art of building clocks.

I am currently figuring out how it works and try to measure it out on paper. At least we are sure that Mr. Jaberg has built a copy, and that has been tested on the patent office.I will of course provide regular updates on the project.
