Ive got these horrible windows sticking out around 10mm or so. Doesnt look very good at all.
All Ive come up with to pretty them up is to run some 20 x10mm pine around the edge level with the outer window frame to fill the 'gap', then a 40 x 10mm cover strip of pine over that and the edge of the frame. This is fine for windows without a bottom drain lip...but what about the ones that have? Again just somehow attach a piece of timber as a tongue on the bottom? I would rather fill that painted bottom part of the frame...is this possible somehow whilst still allow the drainers to work?

I would looooooooove to change the colour too...good job possible?

Heres some pics.

Any other ideas?
