Where to place the Seal on double bowl connector?
I've got a caroma pvc double bowl connector for under the double sink I'm putting in the shed.
The instructions say put one seal here and another one there. 'Stretch them over'. But they only supply one.
And the one they do supply I can' figure out where to put it. Because whenever I stretch them over the open end then the screw down thing from the top side won't go over it - can't reach down to engage the threads if you see what I mean.
They don't say anything but I'm assuming the 'channel' in the seal would fit over the little wall that runs around the pipe and that the taper would face upwards or outward from there.
Can anyone explain to me a little better than caroma do?
p.s. just had a thought. Is the seal they provided something to do with the 'telescopic' arm I have to cut to size? Nothing to do with those two screwed ends?

That seal goes on the side connection from the other bowl, look at the diagram on the bag!!!
There should be another almost square section seal x 2 goes on the the fitting for each of the sink wastesThe person who never made a mistake never made anything

I'll reply to all outstanding posts in this one post, hopefully.
Thanks for the replies. What I get is that there should be two more seals in the bag somewhere. I'm up the track for a bit. I'll message the girls to look in the bag a bit more carefully. See if they can find them.
The black seal is as I surmised - belongs on the telescopic arm somewhere. okay Nobody has said which way round. We'll figure it out.
I don't see the purpose of a pic of the bowls etc. but I'll ask them to send me a pic of the whole sink thing. That's be what you want? From the top? Or underneath? Or edge on?

I think you just need a plumber. The diagrams on the Caroma bags contain all the information you really need, it's there in front of you.

If the 2 rings are missing and it was purchased at a big green shed you can bet some so & so just needed the 2 rings and poked a hole in the bag to get them, I( have had this happen to me several times) take it back to the green shed for replacement.
The big seal doesn't matter which way it goes on, it is symmetrical.

looks like they lost the bag. probably threw it out. so I got to get some more seals.
the black seal isn't symmetrical. look inside. it has an offset trench there which I suppose fits over something.
they sent me some pics. shame to waste 'em.

I got back. found the bag on the floor in the corner. yep. two black washers in it.
okay. no explanation of the channel in the big black one though.
Anyway: I now have these questions pertaining to the P trap if there's anyone could be kind enough to perhaps help me out with them:
1. What size diam should the waste pipe be? I ask because of (3).
2. What to do with the 'slip ring' ?
3 . What about the 'use with copper waste pipe' thing because it seems to work with
my pvc pipe.
4. Is my set up right: e.g. pipe - 'king co rubber' - copperpipe thing - lock nut ?
and harking back to the double bowl connector that's right that there's no locking mech at all at the 'free' ( or 'sawn off' ) end? It just slides into the greased black washer and that's it?
