Removing Cornice Cement
I am in the process of renovating the bathroom and I want to get rid of the old 75mm cornice and finish the walls square with the ceiling.
My ceiling is Stramit Board and I need a way to remove the last traces of the cornice cement without damaging the surface of the ceiling which is essentilly the same surface as gyprock - some sort of thick paper based material so not all that durable.
Given the cornice cement is a calcium based product I thought something like vinegar might do the trick but I am looking for suggestions please
Ian
