Default Sharpening Narrow Chisels - Wadkin

I always have trouble keeping the ends of very narrow chisels (3mm and 4.5mm) square when sharpening or honing on oil (or water) stones. I wondered if this might help.

Wadkin flat bed grinder | Trade Me

The bed is 3.1m long. If I remove the handles I could do 1000 3mm chisels in one go (a bit quicker than RayG - sorry Ray, no offence meant)

Posted for fun and for interest. Wadkin flat bed grinder NP 151, Test 64672, of 1961. Enjoy.

    Hi Vann,

In the spirit of the original.

Essential machine for all of those lucky enough to own a thousand chisels

    Have fun,
    Alli

The new 'narrow chisel clamp' to fit the Veritas Mk2 sharpening guide is VERY good.
