"GOLIATH" brand taps
Can someone let me know if the English made taps, "Goliath" brand in HSS are a high quality tap? I have lots e 5/8 BSF holes to tap in some 316 stainless steel and I need some good taps.
I have been out of action for some months 'cos of illness plus my computer died, but I'm back on deck now. It's good to be back in the forum, I have really missed it.
thanks for any info

I have bought a couple in the past. As far as I can see the quality is very high. Judging by the price they had want to be!

I have been using them for quite a few years now and I find they hang in better than many other "BRAND NAMES" on the market

Goliath Taps
Hi all,
Not sure about English Goliath gear but you can get Goliath threading equipment from the Victorian Goliath via their re-sellers
As I understand they are made here in Vic and I am looking at sourcing some of their product now, They are indeed quality gear and make to order but you wil pay for them
5/8 BSF are listed retail at around $110

Cheers
