Septic Tank to Water Tank Conversion ?
I have been advised by my controlling water board that i need to decommission my septic tank and hook into the mains sewer.
I was thinking of reusing my concrete septic tank as a water tank.
Apart from the obvious decommisioning plumbing aspects, desludging and super chlorinating to remove bacteria , i was wondering if anyone knew what else is involved.
Do i have to cut an opening, pumps, overflow etc etc, any info would be appreciated.
Many Thanks
