G'Day from Montreal, eh

Hello to everyone.

I figured I would introduce myself since you all asked so nicely. I'm Adrian, 26, from Montreal, Canada. Son of an electrician who introduced me to working with my hands, I've been dabbling in woodworking for the last 6 years after making a rudimentary drawing desk for my sister. I stumbled onto this site while searching for homemade tools that I could make on a budget while building a small workshop in the shed in my new house.

I've been lurking at drum making forums for years and am finally going to take the plunge of making one once I get my shop off the ground, I'm really looking forward to it. Aside from making drums, I plan on using any skill that I may acquire to finally making that snowboard I've been dreaming about.
