I reckon the high altitude has affected the people there. Turning them into hippies and making them charge ridiculous amount for wooden objects (David Linton Gallery)

I'm debating, but not sure yet. It's a great place to visit, including a wood show and some friends is even better

Sounds like a good excuse for another weekend away
Who's going, where do we meet, who wants to go out for dinner afterwards perhaps?Neil____________________________________________Every day presents an opportunity to learn something new

I'm hoping to get there, maybe stay overnight with some mates. Been a number of years since I went to the last one.
Regards that David Linton gallery, I give it top points! Wish there were more shops or galleries like that around, very inspiring to just wander around in. Beautiful work, far and away better than your average furniture. That alone deserves decent prices for the maker/designer, but there are overheads for the shop as well, staff and lease, plus there has to be the word profit somewhere. No one's going to sell stuff for cost price, no one wants to work for nothing!
I guess there is also the expected tourist trap mark-up, to filch something from the Mexicans before they head home!!
Cheers,Andy Mac
