Laying tiles on a cracked slab..... MINOR CRACKS

Can you also tell me will this be sifficient for small hairline cracks in the cement???

Before i layed the flexible adhesive and the tiles i didnt do any prep for the cracks, well this is what the guy @ the tile shop maintained that the flexible adhesive would move if there was any movement in the slab therefore not cracking the tiles and not having to purcahse anymore products to prevent cracking.

Is this true or what is your method of laying tiles on a slab that has hairline cracks in it with some just a tiny bit bigger but still not bad cracks by all means
