Are U-beaut shellac flakes dewaxed?
I'm thinking of using shellac as a base for a water based lacquer finish and need to make sure they're free of wax to avoid adhesion problems. I'm going for flakes as I like the long lasting aspect, and also because it's cheaper to the pound.

Our Sanding sealer is made from dewaxed shellac and has an unlimited shelf life.
You can buy our dewaxed shellac and use it at any strength you like until the best by date then mix what's left with metho and use as sanding sealed until it runs out.
Hope this is of some help.
Cheers - Neil
