Bore stain removal, is it possible?
I'm from Perth and I have corrugated fibro fencing (porous surface) around my property. I'm trying to remove the bore water stains. I've used X-Fe Forte and Gelimac but they don't work that well even when I applied them using a stiff brush (it's drill attachment). Before I call in the professionals and spend big money, do you have any suggestions?
Thank you.

careful with that stuff, it's quite possibly asbestos, (depending how old it is of course).
What about just painting over the stains.

As an ex-waterwell driller,I'm betting the stains are red.this is due to the iron bacteria in your water.I have seen this in many pumps and when it dries it forms the finest powder imaginable. So if your fence is fibro, the stain is not only on the outside,it will have entered the material itself. You won't get it out.Try to ensure spray doesn't hit the fence and/or treat your bore with chlorine tablets to kill the bacteria.Do a search on it.There are many forms of control out there but you can never get rid of it completely. As for the fence, paint it.Sorry.This stuff stains corrugated iron to the point where it won't come off.
Cheers, Steve

If it's corrugated and it's fibro cement it almost certainly contains asbestos.
