Sealant on Interior WRC window subject to shower spray

We are renovating our old dark terrace. I thought it was really important to try and get lots of light in the bathroom. So I have had a installed a big WRC window with 4 panes of glass. Our bath is positioned under this window and the shower rose is on the wall perpendicular to the window and over the bath.
So, the wooden window is going to get covered in water, a lot. I guess it was a stupid idea really (my husband is certainly of that opinion!) but hey ho, its done now.

I have looked at the threads about good sealants and it seems that Sikkens products are the go.

But I am really anxious about the whole water spray issue so just wondering if anyone might have some specific advice regarding the best Sikkens product/s (or otherwise)for me to help protect my windows as much as possible from water damage. For instance, should I choose exterior products for extra protection?

Any help you could give, especially of the speedy kind would be much appreciated.

You're right to be concerned about water damage not only to the window but to sill and any horizontal surface. You're also inviting water to get into places it shouldn't like behind tiles and sheeting. Sorry to scare monger, but I've seen quite a few showers with windows fail around this area and result in water damage.
As for the Sikkens product, I would use a coat or 2 of Cetol HLS followed by 2 coats of Supernatural.

Michael is on the ball, A few good coats as he suggested and then maybe you should check out any areas around the edge and on joints etc and run a thin bead of a suitable silicon into them the stop any water getting behind the tiles and sheeting.

Yes, but if the window is exposed to strong sunlight, there is another product Filter7 which has better UV resistance than supernatural.

Have you considered having a 'shower curtain' for the window, something to keep the bulk of the water off it.

Or a shower screen over the window (with gaps at side for air and access to window catch).
