Hi all,
I have 2 x 20l plastic petrol containers and I,m not sure wether they are leaded or unleaded.
How does one tell the difference?

It has been my experience that the leaded is red in colour and the unleaded is gray/blue.

The leaded fuel is the one that comes from the pump that says "Lead Free Super"!

I can tell you that premium unleaded burns more when you get it on your skin, particularly in your arm pit. :eek:

BPs colour coding follows. Hope the table comes out ok. Dont know if all the manafacturers have same colour coding.

I was working on my car with my dad, we were testing the fuel presure (we have our own gauge). Originally Posted by gemi_babe

So, as I reached over the top of the motor for something, dad decided to tighen one of the connectors (at least I think thats what he was doing
) when his open ended spanner came in contact with the snap together fittings, releasing one of the pipes.
Premium unleaded squirted at 55 Psi straight into my arm pit.
Maybe he was de-lousing me?
