Can I run alarm cable in same conduit as power
I have just finished buliding my shed out back and would like to put a sensor in it and connect it to my alarm. When I layed the slab and concrete I allowed a conduit for my power but forget about the alarm.
Can I run alarm cable in same conduit as power? The conduit is about 5 meters long.
If it is an interference issue can I shield the alarm cable with anything?
I dont really want to use wireless if I can avoid it.
If anyone has any success or failures with running it this way I would be rapt if you let me know.
Thanks
