Rough Guide to timber flooring - costs
Hello forum
I am ripping up most of my carpet and replacing it with timber (or tiles, depends on how I feel on the day ).
How's this sound? $128 per square metre fully installed for Vic Ash? This is legit timber flooring, not a floating floor, 21mm thick installed over chipboard (house on footings FWIW). Price includes everything from go to whoa.
I'm not sure if I should 'out' the company who provided this quote other than to say they're a well known mob who appear to have been around for some time. They say they are "an ISO9001:2000 certified manufacturer" whatever that means!
Any info/comments appreciated..I want to know as much as possible about this process so I don't get $crewed
