Spraying Polyurthene on site
HI Guys ,
There is a small office where there are wood paneling on the walls installed and there was no way to spray the panels in a booth as the client wanted no seams on the panels .My question is it possible to spray polyurthene in a space like a office (wearing the right gear off course) and get a good finish .Or do you recommed some other top coat that would be easier to apply and give a excellent finish , durablity etc
Your advise appreciated

Assuming there's nothing else important in the office (like carpet or furniture) and there's good ventilation to outside, I don't see why you couldn't spray the poly. Ideally, you could use a HVLP spray which would have little overspray compared with conventional spraying. But if there's anything else in the office, or if the only ventilation is aircon, then I wouldn't use a conventional spray.
There are wiping varnishes or penetrating oil finishes that you could use. They don't have the durability of poly, but perhaps that's OK if it's on the walls...?Good things come to those who wait, and sail right past those who don't reach out and grab them.
