Gregory Machinery still trading ?
Hi,
Does anyone know if these guys are still trading ?
I've been trying to contact them since Friday morning and get no response. Main phone has a "Sorry no-one here" message. No response to emails or Social messages.

They had a massive clearance sale last month, maybe that was the end of the line.

Interesting! Their website just says "Massive Warehouse Clearance" but not "Moving". Thanks for clearing that up! Would've expected a message saying "We're busy moving for x days"

I phoned them on Thursday to ask about an order and they said they were super busy moving, but they put my item in the post and I got it yesterday.
Guess things will just have to settle for them

Very sad indeed. Looks like another long term business gone.
Makes one wonder about the legality of claims made online about a "moving sale" and buyers purchasing on the impression that they are dealing with and supporting a long established business that is likely to be around for many more years. Must admit I was tempted and was considering a few items myself. A liquidator should be well versed in what is permissible I guess.Mobyturns

That really sucks, they were really good to deal with.

Yes sad indeed, I have found them very helpful in the past.
Sadly since the COVID support ceased (Jobkeeper etc) the numbers of small business insolvencies are rising above pre-pandemic numbers. Have a look at any local or even regional shopping centers, empty shop spaces.Mobyturns
