Hi all, newbie here!
Hi all,
My grand-father was a cabinet-maker, and I guess I have that in my blood. I've always loved the smells in his workshop and the patina of his hand tools.
I have absolutely no training in woodworking but I know this forum is full of invaluable tips and information!
For now, I would like to tackle box making (toy box for the kids, battery box, hair accessories box, ...) so that I can get a bit more organisation in the house.
Second type of project I would like to investigate is between stairs / under stairs storage.
I am looking forward to exploring the forum, to getting help when I am stuck, and to putting into practice what I would have learnt.
Kindly,
Leafy

G'Day & Welcome to a top forum .....
There are a stack members around Brisbane and cross South East Queensland plus the rest of the country.....
You'll find a heap of helpful & knowledgeable blokes & ladies on the forum and for most very willing to assist.
Make sure you show off your handiwork as everyone loves a photo, especially WIP [Work In Progress] photos with build notes.
Enjoy the forum.
Enjoy your woodwork......
Cheers crowie

Hi Leafy, welcome to the forum. You don't need any training, just a passion for wood and learning. I'm also in Brisbane. Any questions don't hesitate to ask.
