Default Hi All, it's great to join in

    Hello to all you folk,

It is good to be able to find a site where people talk common sence in plain english for us learners. Altough I have been a hobbie woodworker since school(early 80s) there is still a lot to learn and have enjoyed skimming through your threads. I look forward to the time ahead with the forum.

    Regards

    Trevor

    Welcome to our madhouse.

Any particular niche you prefer, or just woodwork in general?
I may be weird, but I'm saving up to become eccentric.

Mainly furniture const. type of work or toy building I do have a lathe but I have lost confidence with it (although I did turn our 4poster bed) and is not my first prefference in wood craft.

Hi ya Trev and welcome, we need some photos or it doesn't exist. Get back on that lathe, they are like women, they may throw things at you from time to time but they still want your attention.
