    Default Huanyang VFD and Mach3

Hi there, seems like those chinese vfds are making a lot of interest in a few forums, I have purchased one a 2.2kw water cooled, had it for about 12 months now and so far had no problems,,,,(touch wood), B U T however I do have a question: can they be switched on and off by using the Mach3 software, I don't need speed control as I prefer to do that manualy just to turn it on and turn it off? if anyone has done it I would greatly appreciate some assistance in doing it.

    Regards

    Nick

The brand on the VFD I use is "Sunfar" E300 series. I've tried several combinations (as well as talking to the OEM), best solution I could get is to remember to manually turn on the VFD at the beginning of a session and then Mach starts/stops & controls speed for all the jobs (until the machine is reset).

Thanks for the link Bob, I will phone him on Monday and have a yarn, I had a look at the products but all that electronics jargon gets me baffled, I need it in lay mans terms.
